VII Polish Biomedical Engineering Conference

The Polish Biomedical Engineering Conference (PBME) is an international event that brings together students, researchers, medical professionals, and representatives of the medtech and emerging medical technology sectors. The conference serves as a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration between academia and industry.

The conference was awarded the title of Conference of the Year 2018 in the StRuNa competition organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

The PBME program includes two days of lectures by experts from Poland and abroad, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops. This year’s edition focuses on the application of XR technologies in the operating room, 3D printing of soft tissues, sensor systems and sensing technologies, as well as computer modeling and simulations.

As part of the conference, participants have the opportunity to present their own research during the Young Scientists Session, explore student projects, and meet technology partners. The aim of the event is to integrate the biomedical engineering community and promote innovative medical technologies.
